PCT Patent Cooperation Treaty

The PCT is an international treaty administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), concluded in June 1970, which entered into force in Chile on June 2, 2009.
In summary terms, the PCT seeks to simplify the procedure to request the protection of inventions in several countries, facilitating and speeding up access to technical information on inventions. In this sense, we advise on the drafting, presentation and processing of PCT applications in the national phase (INAPI), or international.
